The First season of PSL was Played Back in 2016. In the First League, There were 5 Teams playing with Each Other. The Teams were Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators.

PSL History and Launching Details
In 2013, The PCB Chairman announced the Starting of the Pakistan Super League. But in 2013,14 the PSL Idea was rejected twice due to Logistical Problems. In 2015, The PCB Management delayed the T20 Cricket Tournament due to a Paucity of lead Time.

PSL Opening Ceremony 2023
For the First Time in PSL History, PSL Opening Ceremony will be at Multan Cricket Stadium on 13 February 2023 Also First PSL Match will be between Defending Champion Lahore Qalandars Vs Multan Sultans. The Opening Ceremony will start at 5 PM in Cricket Stadium. The PSL fans will enjoy PSL First Fatch and Opening with Only One PSL Tickets.
When PSL 2023 will Start?
The PSL 2023 First Match Will be played on 13 February and PSL Final will be played on 19 March 2023. The Multan Cricket Stadium will host the PSL Opening Ceremony and the First Match of PSL 8.
